Happy New Year! Here's hoping that 2009 will bring peace, discovery and joy for each of you and for the rest of the world.
Thanks to Cassy and M for their help in creating the playlist that now lives in the sidebar. We have 15 tracks from around the world. If you're in a dancing mood, start at the beginning; if you're feeling more mellow, skip down a bit (you have to click on "pop out player" to see all the songs at once). All of this of course requires clicking out of your rss reader and viewing the actual page. :=) I'll be changing the playlist every month so song/artist suggestions are always welcome.
Today instead of writing up a book list I baked pumpkin bread and chocolate chip cookies, made bean soup, read to my kids, and played a new game with my family. Coming soon: children's books, more general fiction, and some other stuff.
